Marvin Hiring for Associate HR Business Partner at Baker City, OR Full Time

This employee will be:

• Owning the hiring process for hourly employees, including posting jobs and coordinating recruitment marketing initiatives, reviewing applications, interviewing, attending job fairs, and handling new hire paperwork.
• Acting as the site’s culture and experience coordinator, including
  • Creating and executing a welcoming onboarding experience for new hires with meaningful touch points.
  • Coordinating events designed to improve workplace culture such as employee appreciation events, retirement parties, employee exchange meetings, and other events.
  • Conducting and analyzing exit interviews and stay interviews.
• Managing the leave of absences and call-ins for our employees.
• Advising supervisors and leadership on policies and best practices and addressing employee complaints/concerns.
• Conducting payroll processing approximately every other month.
• Filing, scanning, records retention, and completing other administrative duties.
• Assisting the HR Manager with strategic projects.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or four years related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience as an HR Generalist, HR Specialist or Talent Acquisition Partner strongly preferred.
• SHRM and/or HRCI professional certification preferred.

Work Environment:

The work location for this position is 100% on-site in Baker City, Oregon with the occasional flexibility to work from home depending on business needs.

Compensation:

This is an exempt level, salaried position. The salary range is $52,700 – $79,100 depending on experience and qualifications.
