Job summary

Martinus are seeking an Assistant Accountant to support our Finance department on an initial 6-month contract, with potential to progress to permanent work.

Tasks and responsibilities

This position is focused on Financial Accounting and will include the following:

• Standing journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cost allocation journals
• Recording lease liabilities

Knowledge, skills and attributes

• 2+ years of experience in Accounting
• Experience within the construction industry is advantageous
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP is desirable but not essential
• CA/CPA accreditation, studying or desire to start
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter mindset
