Martin-Brower Hiring for Campus Recruiter – University Relations – HYBRID at Rosemont, IL Full Time

The University Relations/Campus Recruiter will be responsible for managing the college recruitment/early career program. This person will foster excellent relationships with Colleges/Universities representatives, Hiring Managers and Students. This person will lead the program development and management of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas as it relates to College/University Campus Recruiting. The University Relations/Campus Recruiter will perform full life cycle recruiting for our college programs and internships.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Identify organizations well suited to the talent needs of our business, including but not limited to colleges, universities, military programs, trade schools, and other community organizations across the company’s footprint.
• Coordinate, plan and attend local and national recruiting, talent acquisition and industry related events including career fairs, expositions, club/committee meetings, etc.
• Ensure leadership, hiring manager, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition involvement in recruitment activities to ensure appropriate representation at events. Organize attendance and facilitate related communications.
• Establish and maintain a directory of partners and calendar of events.
• Establish measures/KPIs to evaluate partnership results, short and long term.
• Support the end-to-end program management of recruitment/development programs including summer internship programs (Field/Corporate), early talent programs & internal development programs.
• Partner with Communications, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and others to help further the company’s brand and external recruiting content.
• Support workforce planning and recruiting projection process for the organization.
• May conduct full cycle retail recruitment activities including sourcing candidates, posting positions, and screening talent.
• Develop, build/manage programs and maintain strong partnerships with Career Services at top targeted Colleges/Universities and internship/career development offices of clubs/committees, and/or community partners, foster relationships with internal alumni; develops and maintains a network of industry contacts to help identify and source qualified employees
• Oversee, develop, and maintain processes and act as subject matter expert on college recruitment/campus talent acquisition for internship, management trainee and entry level employment opportunities in partnership with talent acquisition team.
• Plan and execute Summer Corporate Internship program events.
• Manages College Recruitment to ensure all materials and resources are updated, maintained and available to corporate and field HR
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 3+ years related experience.
• Previous involvement in staffing, recruitment, or other outreach initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships.
• Exceptionally strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to manage projects and initiatives, end-to-end.
• Detail oriented individual with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• PHR or SHRM Certification.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and/or other HRIS systems.
• Experience in a fast-paced and growing multi-unit organization.
• Experience in a corporate recruitment environment.
• Experience working with temporary employee agencies; testing/assessments and vendor selection.

The compensation range reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program.
