Job Description
This is an exciting time for the company and for HR. With investment in technology, a new CEO with strategic growth plans and a re-orgnisation. We are looking for someone who is ambitious to evolve their HR career, ideally studying at level 5 CIPD with experience or a graduate within a related HR/Business discipline.
Working in a team of 3, this role is responsible for the efficient administration of the employee life cycle, including issuing offer letters and contracts, onboarding new employees, administering changes to employment details, processing leavers, producing reports from our HR database, dealing with HR queries from employees and general HR administration
Key focuses in this role include:
Supporting the Resourcing function with offer letters, contracts and onboarding of new employees.
Processing all changes within an employees’ contract, salaries, benefits, job titles etc.
Ensuring all compliance checks are made around GDPR and Security Clearance.
Handling sensitive data in a confidential manner.
Manage the inbox and employee queries as first point of contact, providing basic HR advice and escalating to HR Business Partners for specific advice and guidance where necessary.
Other tasks will include:
Administration of paperwork across the full employee lifecycle.
Working on multiple queries and business needs at any one time.
Meeting internal SLAs and KPIs when it comes to supporting our internal customers.
Ensuring our HR System (Workday) managed and kept up to date.
Assist with HR projects and initiatives as required.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
Able to priorities, multi task ensuring deadlines and SLAs are met.
High levels of attention to detail.
Highly organised and able to communicate key tasks and actions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with some HR work experience or someone experienced embarking on their level 5 CIPD. You will be looking to progress you career within HR within a diverse, fast paced organisation.
Other essential skills will include:
HR Administration, familiar with the entire employee lifecycle and all compliance/admin associated with that.
Strong Word and Excel skills.
Used to dealing with a high volume of transactional queries and actioning according to the SLA.
Working within a fast paced transactional environment.
Customer orientated, able to work within strict SLAs to ensure our service meets the demands of the business.
Worked with a multitude of stakeholders, across all levels of the business.

Due to the nature of our business, all employment is subject to satisfactory references being obtained, attainment of either an MoD SC (Security Check), appropriate UK Criminal Record Check or Foreign Police Check (whichever is applicable depending on duration of UK residency) and, as applicable, a medical assessment. Access to US technical data by employees requires prior Trade Control function approval. Clearance must be carried out against all applicable US export control authorisations.
