Mars recruitment has partnered with a reputable mining services organisation who are on the lookout for an experienced project accountant to assist the finance team with a number of ongoing large-scale projects. For a suitably experienced project accountant who can hit the ground running, this has good potential to be extended long-term

The role will suit someone with excellent project accounting, cost control and financial accounting experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage month end process and financial reporting.
  • Project controls and cost allocations.
  • Reconciliations and journalling
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis

Experience:

  • Experience doing project accounting in a large commercial enviroment – preferably in mining services, construction or engineering.
  • CA/CPA qualifications is ideal but not critical.
  • Be immediately available or available on short-notice.
