The role can be based in either Waltham (Leicestershire) or Slough (Berkshire), UK, with hybrid working possible.
The Early Talent (ET) Manager will bring the Global Early Talent Strategy to life in the region through partnering the business to harmonise and deploy signature Early Talent programmes including the Mars Leadership & Internship Experiences. The Early Talent Manager will manage the Talent Acquisition (TA) & Programme Management elements of the suite of Early Talent programmes each year in line with regional strategy to build and grow our early talent pipeline and enhance our employer reputation.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an individual that possesses:
Strong Stakeholder Management capabilities, as you will be partnering alongside P&O (HR) Heads and Unit Leadership teams to enable their talent strategies.
Desire and skill to develop talent, as you will be the functional tutor and coach to at least 1 indirect report.
A strategic mindset, as you will have the opportunity to shape and enhance the overall impact and value of our Early Talent programs across the region.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead deployment of One Mars cross segment Early Talent programs to build and grow our early talent pipeline over time.
Partner with local TA teams, third parties and business steering teams to manage a robust, fair selection process – acting as guardian of culture and agreed TA processes.
Build strong and sustainable relationships with business stakeholders across the organization and region to support a successful graduate program, including but not limited to ensure strong leadership of graduates, roles are in line with development program for rotational assignments, and ongoing leadership needs related to the program.
Leading projects within the region that drive improved outcomes around ET programme effectiveness, efficiency or quality to maximise the benefit and value to Mars, ET participants and TA.
