We are currently recruiting for a voluntary Intern to join our Human Resources Team at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, working 3 out of 5 days, for a 6 month period, starting in January 2023. This would be a great option to complete your Supervised Work Experience module.
The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is ideally located in the heart of Edinburgh’s financial and tourist area and is one of Scotland’s leading 5 star hotels. As the largest 5 star hotel in the city with 269 bedrooms, we also have the biggest banqueting and meeting facilities with a capacity of up to 500 and our One Square Restaurant and bar. Additionally the hotel operates the award winning One Spaâ„¢, one of Europe’s premier advanced city spas. Featuring 17 treatment rooms, an outdoor hydropool and indoor “infinity” swimming pool.
As HR Coordinator, you will mainly be responsible for Reward and Recognition within the business and providing assistance to both the tHR Manager and HR coordinator covering recruitment, training and employee relations.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate would have ideally worked in hospitality at an operational level, will be customer focused with an approachable personality and the ability to establish positive relations quickly. It is expected that you would develop skills enabling you to multi-task under pressure and deal with all situations in a confident and professional manner. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is also essential for this position.
