Job Role:
Based at the Hotel, the role is focused on ensuring a great experience for associates at all levels. The HR officer supports the HR manager in providing a first-class service with all people related activities, from recruitment, managing pay and time systems, training and development, engagement and delivering an efficient and effective HR service.

The purpose is to provide a consistent high standard of administration and non-administration support to the Human Resources Department to support achievement of the business goals and strategies for Cardiff Marriott.

Job duties include supporting and coordinating people related activities including:

Recruitment of new associates

Induction and onboarding of new starters

Maintaining employee databases and employee files

Associate wellbeing and ‘take care’ initiatives

Employee engagement activities

Training and development

Skills, Education and Experience:
Previous experience within Human Resources or People Management role essential

Previous experience with HR systems is advantageous

Achieved or working towards CIPD Level 5

Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)

Proficient user of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

Excellent Administration skills, highly organised and efficient approach required

Strong attention to detail, initiative and driving for success
