The Opportunity

We are now inviting applications for an experienced and seasoned Director of Finance. In this diverse role, you will be responsible for the entire Finance department and leading the finance team which includes: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Hotel Accountant and Purchasing Officer.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role requires exceptional stakeholder management, attention to detail, strong influencing and communication skills and a collaborative approach. You will also work closely with the Hotels asset owner(s) and the Area Director of Finance for Marriott International.

About You

• Minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role is essential, preferably hospitality/hotel industry
• Degree in Finance or related business discipline
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication/influencing skills
• Strong organizational, planning skills is a must
• Proven experience leading and coaching a team and building a strong culture
• Rigorous commitment to accuracy and attention to details
• Integrity and professional
• Experience with a variety of hotel systems
• Full working rights in Australia
