The hotel is due to open 1 December 2021.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a driven Accounts Payable professional to join our high performing Finance department. In this diverse role, you will provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the hotel. You will efficiently and accurately complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, verifying and reconciling invoices. In addition, you will support accounts receivable and auditing responsibilities as requested.

Key Accountabilities

• You will be responsible for accounts payable, keeping track of all payments and expenditures
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Ensure compliance with all finance related procedures
• Verifying expense reports, paying vendors and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit
• Supporting audit processes
• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
• Establish and maintain positive customer and business relationships
• Work collaboratively with internal departments
• Be a brand ambassador and reflect our core values
• Other duties as required

Profile

• Experience working in a bookkeeping role and/or accounting skills
• Analytical and decision-making skills
• Master in time management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication ability
• High attention to detail and good data entry skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and working knowledge of OPERA (desirable)
• Degree (or working towards) in Finance, Business or Accounting (desirable)
• Covid-19 Vaccination required – completed vaccination or willing to be vaccinated
• Full working rights in Australia
• Police clearance required prior to commencement
