What you’ll do

• Check figures, postings and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy and proper codes
• Organise, secure and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents
• Classify, code and summarise numerical and financial data to maintain accurate financial records using journals, ledgers and electronic spreadsheets
• Prepare and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing or payroll reports and tables
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements
• Maintain confidentiality of information, protecting the privacy and security of guests and co-workers
• Receive, Log and Store stocks
• Dispute, where applicable, goods or missing items – quality/quantity
• Maintain accurate suppliers lists, codes and any other reasonable item
• Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures.
• Code documents according to company policies and procedures.
• Generate finance/accounting reports from computer system as needed.
• Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
• Audit cashier banks periodically according to SOPs. Maintain, distribute, and record petty cash, cashier banks, and contracts.
• Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances according to SOPs.
• Act as liaison between property and armored car service or primary banking institution.
• Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes and ensure compliance with SOPs.

• At least 2 years of Work Related Experience or
• BA in Finance and Accounting or related Major
