$60,000 to $63,000 a year

Under direction of the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Recruiter provides daily support in the areas of recruiting, onboarding, engagement and administration relative to the hiring and retention of employees for Kentucky Trailer Manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage candidate interview process
• Lead initial screening of candidates
• Create offer letters, provide communication related to new hire orientation to candidates, maintain requisition data, transition talent from candidates to Kentucky Trailer Team Members
• Ensure data accuracy as employees are on boarded into the KTM HR systems
• Research, plan, coordinate, and participate in job fairs, recruiting events, community partnerships, training programs and hiring events as needed
• Assist with running our employment branding program, including driving our employment marketing efforts through social media and business networking sites
• Lead our Talent Acquisition analytics and metrics ing
• Track and on recruiting KPIs
• Handle and prioritize advanced administrative duties with wide latitude for independent judgment and initiative
• Continuously improve talent acquisition processes and tools

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant work experience as a Talent Acquisition Recruiter or similar role
• Takes initiative and identifies ways to advance KTM’s talent acquisition efforts
• Outstanding time-management and problem-solving skills and a track record of producing results over time
• Must be a team player and excited to jump in and help at any time
• Understanding of HR processes and talent acquisition trends
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with potential candidates
• Familiarity with applicant tracking software
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge about the industry and the roles within the organization
• Strong analytical and ing skills
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations for the industry

They accumulate a pool of candidates and keep that information organized.

• Good interviewing skills : Whether the Talent Acquisition Recruiter speaks with a candidate or hiring manager in person, on the phone or electronically, it is important to know how to efficiently ask questions that help them understand the applicant’s skills or the company’s job requirements.
• Advocacy : The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will represent the applicant until it is time for an interview. They should accurately represent the candidate’s skills and qualifications and sell those criteria to the hiring manager.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field or at least 5 previous consecutive years’ experience in the area of recruiting
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems; familiarity with Workday is a plus.
• Professional credential, such as HR Certification Institute is a plus
