Marketing Manager (Growth & Lead Generation)
East Cardiff (near Newport) – Office Based
£45,000 – £50,000 + performance bonus + progression

We are now entering the next phase of growth and are looking for a Marketing Manager to build and lead our marketing function.
The Opportunity
This is not a typical marketing role.
You will:
- Build our marketing function from the ground up
- Shape our brand positioning and market presence
- Drive lead generation and growth
- Play a key role in the management team
This is a hands-on, cross-channel role where you will directly influence how the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Growth
- Own and optimise lead generation channels (Google Ads, SEO, referrals, partnerships)
- Improve lead quality and reduce cost per acquisition
- Identify and test new growth opportunities
Conversion & Customer Journey
- Improve conversion from enquiry → survey → sale
- Strengthen proposals, messaging and customer journey
- Build structured follow-up and nurture systems
Brand & Positioning
- Define and strengthen our brand in the Welsh market
- Increase awareness and aid customer consideration
- Build trust with homeowners making high-value decisions
Marketing Systems
- Build CRM tracking, reporting and dashboards
- Implement scalable marketing processes and workflows
- Ensure all activity is measurable and ROI-driven
Sales Alignment
- Work closely with the sales team to improve close rates
- Provide tools, messaging and materials that support sales
Requirements
Essential
- 5+ years marketing experience
- Experience generating leads and improving conversion rates
- Strong understanding of marketing funnels and performance metrics
- Commercial mindset (focused on revenue and ROI)
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with sales
Desirable
- Experience in solar, home improvement, property or construction
- Experience with Google Ads, SEO or paid social
- CRM / automation experience
- Experience in a growing SME environment
Salary & Progression
We are offering:
- £45,000 – £50,000 base salary
- Performance-based bonus linked to lead generation and revenue growth (£5,000 – £15,000+)
- Clear progression to Head of Marketing as the business scales

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cardiff CF3 2PZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
