Mark Ramsay Financial Inc Hiring for Part-Time Senior Bookkeeper Job at Remote Full Time

We are looking for a sharp and friendly bookkeeper to work on a dynamic array of bookkeeping clients!

We are a boutique bookkeeping firm located in Dallas, TX, and each member of our team works remotely. So, it doesn’t matter where you are!

The successful candidate will:

• Be an expert with QBO (QuickBooks Online) – 99% of our clients use QBO, so we do to!
• Be an expert with Excel – we do lots of extra reporting in Excel!
• Be experienced with sales tax – many of our clients collect sales tax!
• Be available Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 and 5 Central Time – nobody likes working at night or over the weekend, and our clients certainly don’t want to be receiving emails outside of working hours!
• Know how to review financial statements for anomalies – sloppy bookkeeping isn’t helpful to ANYONE!
• Be able to track their time in an app, with detailed descriptions of tasks performed – clients love detailed invoices!
• Ability to follow detailed instructions – we’ve developed detailed processes for the required tasks to make it easy for you to follow!

You can choose to be either an employee (Texas residents only) or a contractor of Mark Ramsay Financial Inc… it is your call.

This position requires 20 to 25 hours a week, involves some interaction with clients, and includes a set weekly conference call on Mondays with the lead bookkeeper to ask any questions (but questions are welcome anytime).

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
