Mark James Search Ltd Hiring for Finance Manager Job at Theale, South West England, England Full Time

As an Finance Manager you will work closely with the Managing Director, to manage the day-to-day finance and accountancy operations of the business and to provide forecasts and reports to the Managing Director.

What Will You Do?

• Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
• Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to the Managing Director
• Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.
• Manage all payroll, VAT and HMRC processes.
• Manage all AP & AR processed, via Quickbooks
• Produce and send invoices for payment
• Manage banking payments and 3rd party reconciliations
• Credit control to reduce aged debt
• Processing weekly timesheets for external temporary/contractor staff payroll
• Work closely with outsourced payroll provider to manage external payroll and invoicing
• Manage Internal and external client timesheet systems for weekly payroll
• Work closely with our accountants for month end, quarter end and year end accounting.
• Month end reporting including P&L and balance sheet reports.
• Maintaining supplier details in Quickbooks and time sheet reporting systems
• Manage Accounts team email inbox.
• Produce Excel documents for reporting
• General finance/accounts ad-hoc projects as required

About you

• Strong generlist experience in AP/AR, Credit Control, Banking and Payroll.
• Full or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred. AAT considered.
• Experience of using Quickbooks
• Strong MS Excel skills (Formulas, Marcos, Pivots)
• A strong work ethic
• Professional and resilient in character
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

This is a part time, permanent position working 3 days per week. 1 of these day must be office based in Theale, the other 2 can be home based if preferred.
