The Recruiter – Talent Acquisition will manage the full lifecycle recruitment and hiring for assigned functional or business area(s). The selected candidate will support and recruit for exempt and non-exempt level positions across Maritz (corporate), Maritz Motivation, Maritz Automotive, and Maritz Global Events.
40% – Oversee the recruiting process on assigned requisitions from end to end while effectively utilizing the talent acquisition process, systems, and tools.
40% – Responsible for sourcing of passive candidate strategy for assigned functional area(s).
20% – Maintains up-to-date knowledge of HR Employment policies and monitors adherence.
Primary Responsibilities
40% – Oversee the recruiting process on assigned requisitions from end to end while effectively utilizing the talent acquisition process, systems, and tools.

Conduct in-depth intake meetings with hiring leaders to ensure alignment on the position, candidate profile, as well as establishing clarity on roles and responsibilities.

Conduct phone interviews with applicants to ensure candidates meet minimum qualifications and are an organizational fit for Maritz. Creates and manages recruitment activity timelines.

Generate a diverse candidate population using various methods including job boards, membership organizations, and personal networking.

Partner with the business to create efficient and effective recruitment strategies for sourcing, pipelining, and urgent requisitions.
40% – Responsible for sourcing of passive candidate strategy for assigned functional area(s).

Develops and/or executes tactical sourcing and recruiting strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting objectives. Provides direction to any talent vendors.

Communicates updates to internal clients, HR team, and any engaged vendors on an ongoing basis.

Participates in candidate interviews and provides substantive input into selection decisions.

Negotiates salary offers with candidates.
20% – Maintains up-to-date knowledge of HR Employment policies and monitors adherence.

Resolves basic employee relation issues resulting directly from recruitment/hiring activities, discussing activity with hiring managers while escalating more significant issues to HR Business Partners.

Provides detailed metrics on manager/new hire experience and relevant other talent acquisition metrics.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience working within an ATS, preferably Workday.

2 years of dedicated recruitment and staffing experience.

1+ year of experience conducting Boolean searches for business related research or sourcing.Ability to make excellent first impression on applicants and “sell” Maritz to them.

Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, and ability to apply those skills successfully in interaction with many different personality types in varying environments.

Partners closely with HR Business Partners assigned to same functional/business unit, as well as other members of the Human Resources staff. Interfaces with hiring managers and other internal clients, serving as the staffing subject matter expert.
