Primary Responsibilities

As Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Complete daily cash logs for Ware, ASSi and Norbet
• Process daily bank account funding
• Process daily Borrowing Base A/R roll forward
• Maintain capital/expense project request forms (CARs) which include review of requirements, status of reports, tracking approvals, determination of capital vs expense categories
• Maintain fixed asset records (additions and disposals) in a timely manner, including proper useful life, fixed asset record details
• Prepare/maintain capital and operating lease file for additions, terminations and renewals (monthly)
• Prepare analysis of selected balance sheet and expense accounts (assigned based on complexity)
• Prepare journal entries for corrections / recurring accruals (to be identified such as utilities, prepaid amortizations, etc.)
• Prepare monthly and quarterly sales rep commissions and incentives
• Prepare multi-state Sales & Use tax returns (monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Provide support for Senior Accountants for balance sheet analysis
• Reconcile intercompany and related party accounts on a monthly basis
• Backup for Scrap Billing invoices, Design Group billing, A/R Adjustments
• Prepare audit backup documents as directed/requested
• Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years junior accountant experience

• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles

Education Requirement

• Accounting degree or pursuing an accounting degree

Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
