The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $19.43 to $20.75.

This position is non-exempt under the FLSA.

D800 Superior Court

• High school diploma or GED

• Two (2) years of work experience performing office, clerical, or administrative duties in an office environment

• A combination of post-secondary education and work-related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis

• One (1) year or more of customer service in a legal or large corporate environment

• Customer service principles
• Office practices, procedures, and clerical processes
• Microsoft Office Suite; e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Operating various office equipment and machines
• Communicating effectively; both verbally and in writing
• Using critical thinking skills to perform work functions accurately and professionally

• Plan, organize and maintain workflow
• Work independently and/or as part of a team
• Exercise discretion in handling and working with sensitive and/or confidential information
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Evaluate job requests, prioritize and perform appropriate actions

• Greets customers, answers telephones and provides accurate information and assistance. Uses appropriate reference material when needed to find information.
• Performs data entry for applicant compensation placement.
• Processes interns.
• Performs employment verification checks when requested and only discloses the appropriate amount of information.
• Picks up, sorts, and distributes mail daily.
• Picks up fingerprint cards on a regular basis and scans them to the HR manager.
• Serves as the bus card liaison.
• Files performance evaluations and other employment documents.
• Reviews and updates spreadsheets as requested.
• Schedules and processes name changes for current employees.
• Creates employee and applicant files, and files paperwork.
• Manages the inventory of policy packets and orders more when necessary.
• Manages and ensures the current version of mandatory posters are posted at all locations.
• Manages inventory of supplies for the department and places supply orders.
• Make copies and prepares documents for the department.
• Schedules polygraph appointments and checks in polygraph applicants.
• Assists with the proctoring of Spanish assessments.
• Distributes information as requested.
• Completes special projects as assigned.
