About the Role

Maria Mallaband Care Group are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our family at our head office in Leeds. As part of the role, you will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and the rest of the internal recruitment team to fill vacancies across our luxury care homes and Head Office.

The successful candidate will work with our management team, building relationships with Directors, Care Managers, Home Administrators and Head office staff to gain a better understanding of the recruitment needs and requirements of each individual home, stakeholder and across the Company. Ensuring that the right candidates are attracted through combining various recruitment techniques including the use of a wide range of media, networking, headhunting, referrals and building an internal database of talent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
• Using candidate databases to find the right person for the company’s vacancies and building an internal database with talent pool
• Receiving and reviewing applications and shortlisting of candidates
• Offer support to our business, guiding our hiring managers on labour market availability, and providing specialist support
• Developing a good understanding of the company, the industry & competitors, what we do and our work culture and environment
• Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary, and benefits of the role in question
• Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the Directors/senior management team
• Informing candidates about the results of their interviews
• Promote Maria Mallaband Care Group and be a brand ambassador

What we need from you:

• Previous recruitment experience within an in house or agency based role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
