About the Role

Maria Mallaband Care Group are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our family at our head office in Leeds. As part of the role you will work closely with the Overseas Talent Acquisition Manager and the rest of the internal recruitment team to recruit overseas candidates for our luxury care homes.

You will work with our Management team, building relationships with Directors, Care Managers, Home Administrators and Head office staff in order to gain a better understanding of the recruitment needs and requirements of each individual home in your patch and across the Company.

Ensuring that the right candidates are attracted through combining various recruitment techniques including the use of a wide range of media, networking, headhunting, referrals and building an internal database of talent.

Key tasks:

• Develop and maintain an overseas talent pool of candidates to make applicant identification more efficient based on care home needs and candidate preferences
• Assist hiring managers with interviews and offers of employment while working with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator to carry out appropriate employment checks
• Develop good relationships with external suppliers, immigration solicitors and internal stakeholders
• Maintain updated knowledge of Home Office and Right to Work regulations. Produce accurate reports and adhere to own targets
• Work with the Talent Acquisition Administrator to support new employees and stakeholders with the on-boarding and settling process
• Maintain contact with candidates through the entire recruitment life cycles to ensure compliance with Home Office and Nursing and Midwifery Council requirements for OSCE
• Promptly report any internal or external issues to the Talent Acquisition Manager. Comply with the International Recruitment Code of Practice at all times
• Fulfil any duties as requested that are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the post

This role may require travel for recruitment events and open days, it may also require overnight stays

Person Specification:

Professional

• The post holder should have a commitment to ongoing development

Experience

• The post holder will have at least 2 year’s experience in a recruitment role
• Demonstrable experience of working with reporting and recruitment metrics

General

• Excellent understanding of candidate recruitment cycle
• Understanding of on-boarding processes and Home Office regulations
• Ability to work against deadlines and targets
• Ability to advise on changes in external regulations, processes and their implementation
• Ability to advise stakeholders and drive change were required
• Competent working knowledge of all system-based tools, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
