Scope and Authority

Under direct supervision, the Finance Officer follows established procedures and guidelines for reviewing and processing finance-related transactions and providing administrative support to the functions.

Main Tasks

The accounting administrator is responsible for checking the incoming/outgoing invoices and booking the invoices in the ERP system. In addition, other supportive administrative activities are included. The Accounting Administrator has a lot of contact with other internal departments and suppliers/customers in this role.

Responsibilities depending on the location may include:

• Inventory management & reconciliation of goods

• Month-end support

• Timekeeping & invoicing support for engineering hours worked

• Purchase Order management and process ownership

• Reconciliation suspense accounts (AP/AR)

• IT administrator financial software (AP/AR)

• Processing and handling payments (AP/AR)

• Processing of bank statements (AP/AR)

• Processing and handling expense reports (AP)

Skills and Abilities

• Sufficient attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data
• Sufficient communication skills to liaise effectively with the wider business
• Team Player with a flexible attitude towards general working responsibilities
• Good communication skills working with a diverse multi-cultural team

Education, Knowledge, and Experience

• Completed financial intermediate vocational education, preferably towards business administration

• Preferred 2-5 years of work experience in a similar position

• English skills, both written and verbal

• MYOB experience is essential and Microsoft Dynamics desirable
