Job Description:

The Company HR Administrator (HRA) plays a critical role at our company and is integral in our company’s HR success – you will manage all the essential HRA tasks. The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for human resources and a strong background in recruitment, employee relations, and administrative support. You will be responsible for creating an effective communication bridge where information flows and you will ensure efficient data transmission and preparing HR documents between our employees and our company. Our HRA will oversee our company policies, evaluate our employee relations, processing data management, and human resources management.

Most importantly, a great human resources administrator always works while keeping industry and organization best practices in mind.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Liaise with PEO and 401k provider.
• Organize and maintain personnel records, enter new data, and update previous employee data in internal HR databases.
• Understand the intricacies of data management, data accuracy, and policy understanding.
• Review, revise, and update company policies and organizational best practices.
• Prepare various HR documents, including new hire guides, employment contracts, compensation lists, and more.
• Conducts onboarding of new hires and works with external recruiters for a smooth new hire experience.
• Oversee HR compliance initiatives are met according to local, state and federal guidelines (ACA, 5500, etc.)
• Be the first point of contact with external partners and vendors, ensuring legal compliance is fulfilled.
• Answer any employee queries about people or HR-related issues, and help them resolve them internally, if possible.
• Create regular presentations and s on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, retention rates, and more.
• Arrange any travel accommodations and take care of expense forms by communicating between departments.
• Run the payroll department by providing up-to-date information on all employees, including sick leaves, leaves of absence, overtime hours, work schedules, and more.
• Take an active part in HR projects, such as job fairs, recruitments rounds, and more.
• Manage and run the HRIS software of the organization, and make sure it’s updated.
• Assist the CEO in managing and administrating the HR budget.
• Organize employee benefits and insurance quotes and run open enrollment for employees.
• Collaborate with our PEO vendors to satisfy our internal employee needs.
• First point of contact for sensitive information and matters concerning employees and works with CEO and other executives to resolve employee issues.
• Handles corporate minutes and documents then files updated company matters accordingly.
• Administrative functions as necessary.
• Serves as Office Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates for open positions, conducting phone interviews, and scheduling interviews.
• Developing and implementing an employee relations strategy to build a positive workplace culture through positive interactions with current employees.
• Support the development of an employee relations strategy with current and prospective employees.
• Maintain the HRIS database by updating records as needed.
• Assist in the processing of new hire paperwork, including verifying employment eligibility, certifications, references, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required. A minimum of three years’ experience as a HR administrator or relevant role required. A background in Payroll is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to perform duties that require judgment, initiative, and decision-making skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
