Marchon Eyewear Hiring for Account Executive – Outside Sales Full Time

Marchon Eyewear, Inc one of the world’s largest designer, manufacturer and distributors of eyewear, is seeking a dynamic outside sales representative.

The established territory is for Queens and Long Island, to represent and sell our eyeglass frames and sunglass collections to current and new accounts.

The candidate is required to live in either, Queens or Long Island.

Sales are to our existing and independently owned opticians and eye doctor accounts.

The frame collections represent highly desired exclusive brands, focused on styles for all aspects of the business. This position requires selling and servicing existing accounts, prospecting and developing new accounts. The account executive will be evaluated on their ability to meet sales goals and revenue targets. It requires proven sales experience. territory management skills, reliable transportation (SUV preferable) and excellent organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• You are required to make in person appointments and cold calls to receive orders from existing and new accounts to enter on your iPad.
• You will travel with samples (company provided) in your own vehicle (preferably an SUV), to existing and new account locations, throughout the sales territory to obtain orders.
• You will be developing a relationship and seeing these buyers several times a year..
• You will be initiating regular, in person contact to existing and potential accounts, introducing yourself and your Marchon’s product.
• Excellent sales skills and organizational skills are necessary to manage the territory.
• You will be evaluated on your sales performance and meeting set goals

Job Requirements:

• Outside sales and/or optical industry experience with demonstrated success.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed specified sales goals.
• Strong relationship building and business development skills.
• Familiar with time, territory, and call cycle management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and listening skills.
• Proficiency with an iPad (company provided).
• Collaborative/cooperative relations with management and corporate colleagues
• Ability to carry and lift multiple sample bags weighing up to 30-pounds each.
• Reliable vehicle transportation (SUV preferable).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,500.00 – $75,000.00 per year
