Marathon TS Hiring for Accounting Specialist Job at Remote Full Time

Marathon TS is looking to hire a Part-Time Accounting Specialist to provide administrative and day-to-day operations support to our client’s operations and back-office staff. This position will contribute to tasks in some or all the following functional areas: accounting, payroll, scheduling, and invoicing.

This position is fully remote and has a flexible schedule requiring up to 20 hours of work each week. Prefer dedicated work days each week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate Monthly Invoices to clients.
• Post expenses from bank statements and invoices.
• Post Monthly JE for routine expenses including depreciation and prepaids.
• Post direct and subcontract labor.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Responsible for timely entry of vendor accounts payable, client account receivables, monthly recurring entries
• Management of the general ledger, subledger, accounts and schedules.
• Reconcile Credit Card Statements.
• Assist with Payroll operations to include: Post Payroll among other duties
• Assist with other Accounting duties as assigned.

MUST HAVES:
Experience with a government contracting accounting system (Unanet, Costpoint, or other DCAA compliant system)

***Experience with Unanet would be ideal.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
