Structural Engineer.

£35,000 – £40,000 (+ bonuses).

Their specialist engineering fields include pre-planning, building appraisal, civil, structural, building services and geo-environmental.

Due to continued, strategic expansion, my client is now looking for a Structural Engineer to join their talented team in London. Does this sound like the type of secure company that can offer you the long-term, rewarding career prospects you are seeking?

Essentially, we are looking for an experience Structural Engineer, who is degree qualified and ideally has a background in buildings engineering. However, for the right person, my client would also be open to considering people from alternative disciplines, such as oil and gas, temporary works and infrastructure. Regardless of previous experience, you will be proactive and diligent by nature and have a keen eye for detail.

Simultaneously working on multiple projects, as part of a friendly, close-knit team, the main responsibilities for your new role will be as follows:

• Preparing design calculations and drawings.
• Supporting Senior Engineers in carrying out the project design from commencement to completion.
• Liaising with colleagues and construction professionals throughout the design and construction process.
• Establishing yourself as a key contact with other consultants and partners and to represent the company at design team meetings.
• Carrying out thorough site investigations, complete inspections, identifying issues and solving problems.
• Managing CAD Technicians and producing designs in a wide range of materials.

The team are always rewarded for their hard work. For this role, my client is offering a starting salary of £35,000 – £40,000, plus performance related bonuses and an excellent benefits package, including 30 days holiday (with the ability to buy more), death in service scheme and an employee wellness program.

The role is realistically commutable from most parts of London and is local to Clerkenwell, Marylebone, Soho, Mayfair and Paddington.
