Job Title : Insurance Authorization Representative

Location : Milwaukee, WI (Onsite)

Position Type : 3-month Contract

Payrate : $23.00 / hr.

Experience Level : Entry Level – 1 year of experience as a traveler accepted

EPIC experience required*

Responsibilities :

As an Insurance Authorization Representative, you will be responsible for data entry tasks, working with Excel spreadsheets to gather and transfer data to the UHC (United Healthcare) portal.

Your primary focus will be on processing approximately 55 authorizations per day. While insurance authorization experience is not required, proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with EPIC are essential.

Qualifications :

1 year of experience as a traveler (experience in insurance authorization not required)

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Familiarity with EPIC EMR system

Strong data entry skills

Excellent attention to detail

Good attendance record

Technology / Equipment :

EMR : EPIC (Familiarity)

UHC Portal experience (a plus)
