Our client, Food Processor, is seeking a Logistics Manager to join their team. As a Logistics Manager, you will be part of the shipping and receiving support team.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse management, and Commercial driving management which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Logistics Manager

Location : Indio, CA

Pay Rate 75-85K

What’s the Job?

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service with in / out bound trucks and driver verifications.
• Obtain quotes from 3PL brokers and communicate awarded shipments / routes.
• Keep track of quality, quantity stock levels, deliveries times, transport cost and efficiency.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
• Service, coach train warehouse workforce -emphasis on using computer systems for receivers, outbound paperwork / BOLs and pallet tag / lot traceability / recalls.
• Work with production scheduling and warehouse management to assure efficient / timely schedules and FIFO methodology.

What’s Needed?

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager
• Proficient in standard logistics software (Microsoft Dynamics, a PLUS)
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
• Demonstrate ability to lead and manage staff.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS ARE A MUST
