Who we need:

Manifold is seeking an Associate Fund Accountant to help with the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting of our hedge fund. This position is responsible for ensuring that trades/positions are properly valued and accounted for via accurate measurement of securities prices and/or positions. This position assists in calculating net asset values (NAVs), assisting the CFO with all aspects of the day- to-day accounting, regulatory reporting and control processes. They will work closely with teams across the company, including the CFO, operations team and external providers.

Roles and responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

• Creating accurate and timely Net Assets Values (NAV) reports and financial statements (PnLs and Balance Sheets) for review.
• Monitor and account for Subscriptions, Redemptions, Transfers, and Side Pocket Activity.

• Prepare and review mid-month and month-end performance estimates.
• Write reports periodically to management on fund activities and other related issues.
• Coordinate data flow and reconciliation processes between Manifold, Fund Administrators, Custodians, and trustees

• Assist with GP/IM daily accounting (AP, AR, and Expense cycles)
• Assist with the completion of the Annual Financial Statements
• Assist with regulatory reporting and filings
• Assist with tax related analysis and associated work
• Participate in technology initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience; performing fund accounting and financial reporting
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
• A thorough understanding of hedge fund accounting, financial & tax reporting and fund administration
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, across multiple channels, including the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Excel and related financial and accounting software experience
• Experience working with TradFi, DeFi or Crypto-native businesses

• Enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industries, whether personal or professionally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
