Mancan Hiring for Recruiter Job at Mount Vernon, OH Full Time

Are you good at multi-tasking in the office? Like a job within a job? If you, answered “yes”, then Mancan is working with a company in Mt. Vernon looking for a Recruiter. This will be a 1st shift temp-to-hire position for the right candidate based on skills, attitude and attendance.

Duties:

• recruit, interview, and on-board new hires and assist at the Byesville facility
• research and develop opportunities for staffing strategies
• conduct new hire orientations
• post open job positions on various platforms and updates staffing report
• new hire paperwork
• assist associates with benefits administration
• maintain and create time card badges for associates
• enter in non salary employee’s files in HR filing system
• assisting with day-to-day efficient operation of the office
• assist in maintaining a database of employee contact information
• assist in maintaining personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
• post of bids and correctly distribution accordance to the bylaws
• generates the company newsletter
• maintain a recruiting and retention spreadsheet
• assist employees with any benefits online access as needed
• schedule interview for hiring and any additional interviews as needed
• work as team member to ensure efficient operations of the HR dept.
• assists the plant and front office with temporary staffing needs by contacting and working with the temporary staffing agencies
• participates on various committees to provide support
• event planning, IQ luncheons
• role model and support company policies and procedures
• may conduct exit interviews
• regular attendance is essential
• other duties to be assigned

Requirements:

• professional in all communication
• able to exhibit a high level of confidentially
• detail oriented and dependable
• visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
• heavy recruiting background or working with retention. Preferably manufacturing setting but will consider other industries.

Experience/Education:

• HSD/GED
• prefers at least 2 years of experience in Office Administrations
• prefers experience in payroll as well as HR

Pay is BOE $55-$60K. Monday-Friday 8a-5p. Business dress. Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
