Office Assistant

Mancan is assisting a local company in Akon that is seeking a highly organized and efficient Clerical / Receptionist to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing phone calls, performing data entry tasks, and assisting the sales team with general office duties.

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced office environment.

Hours : Monday- Friday 7 : 30am-4pm

$15 / hr

Key Responsibilities :

1. Answer Phones and Handle Inquiries :

• Professionally and courteously answer incoming phone calls.
• Take accurate messages and forward calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide information to callers as needed.

2. Data Entry :

• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Enter customer and sales data into the company database or software systems.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of various office-related information.

3. Office Support :

• Assist salesmen with administrative tasks as required, including preparing sales documents, s, and presentations.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conference calls for the sales team.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and maintain office supplies inventory.

4. General Office Duties :

• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Greet and direct visitors, clients, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist in coordinating office events, including meetings and trainings.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a clerical or receptionist role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in using office software and equipment, including word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
