Primary Objectives:
Reporting to the Vice-President, Public Affairs and Programs, the Manager, Education and Knowledge Translation plays a key role in supporting the delivery and management of MedicAlert’s educational programs. This position is responsible for developing content and optimizing the usage of our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is accessible, inclusive, and aligned with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. The role also involves delivering engaging training sessions to diverse audiences, coordinating logistics with external partners, and supporting program evaluation efforts. A strong focus on accessibility, including AODA compliance and translation coordination, ensures that all learners can effectively engage with the material. This position works closely with internal teams and stakeholders to continuously improve the reach and impact of MedicAlert’s education initiatives.
In this role, the Manager, Education and Knowledge Translation is also responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and expansion of educational tools and resources across all MedicAlert programs, including MedicAlert Kids, Safe & Found, and other evolving programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring MedicAlert’s educational initiatives are innovative, inclusive and aligned with the organization’s mission to enhance the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations across Canada.
