MAN Energy Solutions currently has a vacancy for an experienced Accountant to join the finance team responsible for:

• Preparation and posting month end journals including accruals and prepayments
• Preparation of general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations including clearing reconciliation items
• Assisting with month end reporting and internal management reports
• Cash flow management and reconciliations of bank accounts
• Preparation of forecasts/budget analysis reports including variance analysis and identification of key cost drivers
• Customer account credit control and receivable management
• Coordinate and control imports and export shipments and documentation.
• Inventory valuation including GIT, work in progress, stock reconciliations and coordination of stocktakes and cycle counts
• Preparation and lodgement of BAS, GST and payroll tax
• Processing sales orders, invoices/credit notes, and job costing
• Assist annual Income tax reconciliations

To be considered for this position you must possess the following skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce with a major in Accounting
• Excellent excel skills and or financial modelling experience with excel
• Sound numerical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous experience operating in industrial services industry desirable but not essential
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to present and explain financial information to stakeholders
• Self-motivated and strong time management skills
