Maltin Wealth Management is an independent, fee-only Registered Investment Advisor located in Wyckoff, NJ. We provide customized wealth management and family office services to a high net worth clientele. We are true fiduciaries for about 150 families. The depth and quality of MWMs’ work have been consistent engines for the firm’s clients as well as the firm’s growth. We are client first and there is no selling in this position or at the firm. MWM is now seeking to add an Operations/Relationship Manager.

This is an opportunity to work with an amazing clientele, in a very hands on organization, along side the firm’s founder and client relationship manager. This role will to become the backbone of our client operations and servicing. The current lead will be moving into an client advisor role. You would work directly with him during the transition. There will be ongoing client and COI contact and as such requires exceptional personal planning and communication skills.

There are no set hours for this position. While most days will be traditional hours, our clients expect high quality work which occasionally requires additional time outside of these hours. With the expectation of quality work, we also look to empower our employees to find a good work/life balance. We want you to be active outside of your work and we encourage it. This lends us to a work hard, flexible, family environment.

Our office is remote. The majority of your days will be working virtually so there is no regular commute. We will have a day or two a month that we will socially get together. This is the reason we are looking for people who live within a reasonable driving distance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Account Servicing such as processing withdrawals, beneficiary updates, address changes, etc. with limited assistance.

• Prepare required paperwork and facilitate client account opening with our custodian.

• Administrative Responsibilities including answering client calls, mailings, and system updates

• Calculating and debiting advisory fees quarterly in our portfolio management system

• Monitoring cash flows in accounts and servicing our private banking clients.

• Organize firm calendar and manage the client review process.

• Building relationships with our client base by consistently providing the highest level of customer service.

• Abide by the firm’s standardized processes, with a focus on increasing efficiencies and accuracy, and leveraging technology to streamline or automate manual processes.

• Maintain required tracking sheets and supporting documentation for compliance-related purposes.

• Master systems, such as CRM, custodian websites, trade order management systems, and other relevant technological resources.

Education and Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Dedicated work ethic and strong organizational skills

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize projects and requests, and sustain a high level of attention to detail

• Preferred 3+ years of experience supporting a Registered Investment Advisor or financial services firm.

• Working knowledge of money movements, ACH and wire transfers

• Must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient using Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Redtail CRM, Fidelity IWS, eMoney, and Orion Advisor, systems a plus.
• FINRA liscenses such as a series 7 are not required and will not be maintained because we are a fee-only SEC registered RIA.

The compensation package will range based on experience and includes:

Target Total Comp $70-80,000

Salary $55-65,000

Target Bonus $10,000
