This is a rare opportunity to join an evolving Human Resources team focused on driving strategic culture in a fast growing, multidimensional company. We are looking for a determined and dedicated individual with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to build relationships with a variety of people from different backgrounds. You’ll be primarily responsible for leading talent acquisition efforts within Mallory, using internal and external sourcing methods to build a strong workforce that will be foundational to our continued growth. You’ll manage the full cycle recruiting process from initial call to onboarding, while also supporting on retention and culture building initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Specialist role will give someone the unique opportunity to get to know many aspects of our company and each one of the people who make it successful.

Here’s what you’ll do as a Talent Acquisition Specialist:

• Lead the full-cycle recruitment process from initial conversation through onboarding
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies focused on driving candidate generation in a tight talent market
• Manage a set of requisitions ranging from entry to executive level
• Create and periodically update creative, engaging, and dynamic job postings
• Define the knowledge, skills, experience, and behavioral requirements for positions
• Review applications on Indeed, BambooHR, and other recruiting platforms
• Schedule initial phone interviews and present top-level talent to hiring managers

• Evaluate candidate’s skills, experience, and alignment with our core values

• Coordinate and assist in conducting second and third round interviews, in person and via Teams
• Write and extend offer letters
• Maintain Active Recruiting List and Filled Req Report
• Partner with HR Manager to develop, refine, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics and KPIs
• Advise on and refine talent acquisition processes in partnership with the rest of the Human Resources Department

• Engage various talent acquisition channels such as referrals, social media, events, job fairs, Boolean and other searches, internal candidates and other creative sourcing strategies

• Partner with leaders to develop and execute effective talent acquisition and retention strategies that enable the successful achievement of our business goals
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for strategic/future hiring needs as well as Mallory Safety Services, our staffing division
• Demonstrate expertise in recruiting top talent within the safety and industrial distribution industry and other key talent segments

Here’s what we’re looking for in a Talent Acquisition Specialist:

• Robust recruitment skills with a discerning eye for talent alignment with requisition expectations and job duties as well as The Mallory Way
• Results-driven and metric-focused approach to recruiting
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills across a variety of channels
• High level of professionalism and ability to act as a natural brand ambassador
• Strong organization and attention to detail are a must
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite as well as Microsoft Teams
• Ability to work effectively with teams across the Mallory organization
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• Must be able to report to the office – at this time, this is not a remote position.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred, as this position may provide opportunities for travel
