We are seeking a skilled and initiative-taking HR Recruiter/Mental Health to assist the HR team in the recruitment and selection of qualified therapists for our organization. As an HR Recruiter/Mental Health, you will play a crucial role in attracting, evaluating, and hiring talented therapists who align with our organization’s mission and values. Your responsibilities will include sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, assessing qualifications, and collaborating with the Clinical Director and the HR Manager to ensure a successful recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified therapists and interns.
2. Utilize various recruitment channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and universities, to source potential candidates.
3. Review and screen therapist resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
4. Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate therapists’ and interns’ qualifications, clinical skills, and compatibility with organizational culture.
5. Collaborate with the Clinical Director, HR Manager and CEO to understand the specific requirements and needs for therapist positions and internships.
6. Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including interview preparation and candidate evaluation.
7. Conduct thorough reference checks to validate candidates’ credentials and gain insights from previous employers or supervisors.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the recruitment database or applicant tracking system.
9. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and changes in licensure requirements to ensure compliance and effective recruitment strategies.
10. Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and other networking opportunities to enhance the organization’s visibility and attract top therapist talent.
11. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for newly hired therapists and interns.
Requirements:
· Excellent communication and people skills to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
· Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
· Ability to assess therapist qualifications, clinical skills, and cultural fit effectively.
· High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
· A passion for mental health and a genuine interest in attracting top therapist talent to make a positive impact on individuals’ well-being.
