Majestic Steel Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at Cuyahoga Falls, OH Full Time

Majestic Steel is excited to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our growing team! The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full cycle recruiting with a focus on operations and plant, shop-hourly positions. This person will also partner with plant leadership and supervision to identify, qualify, and hire top talent required to support and grow plant operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement innovative recruiting methods and procedures, with a focus on filling plant, shop-hourly positions
• Create and post job opportunities with the most effective recruiting sources to attract slates of diverse, qualified candidates (job boards, networks, professional associations, strategic recruiting partners, etc.)
• Screen and interview candidates to identify top talent
• Guide applicants through all stages of our hiring process from interview to hire
• Develop relationships with hiring managers, identify and present diverse, qualified candidates and keep hiring managers updated on screening and hiring status
• Manage the scheduling and logistics of virtual and onsite interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Collaborate with Human Resources and Legal area to prepare compensation packages and present to candidates
• Conduct and coordinate checking reference verifications; along with, background, credit and drug screening for all potential hires
• Meet with and prepare hiring managers with tools for successful associate onboarding
• Conduct regular follow-up with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting, implementation, and future staffing needs
• Manage applicant tracking and related documentation
• Attend local and remote job fairs, colleges and recruiting events
• Other job related duties and special projects as assigned

Education, Training and Experience Requirements

• Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources Management, Marketing or other related field
• Two years recruiting experience
• Technologically savvy and experience working with Microsoft Office products and Windows-based applications

• Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to diverse audiences
• Excellent creative ability in sourcing candidates
• Sound judgment and decision-making
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Proven track record in successfully recruiting top talent
• Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor to provide a positive company image to associates, candidates, business partners and the public
• Ability to effectively prioritize, balance multiple projects and processes and adhere to strict deadlines
• Trustworthy, discrete, and a high degree of personal integrity to maintain sensitive and confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years high volume, manufacturing recruiting experience
• Experience working with UKG Recruiting module
• Experience working with and utilizing talent assessments such as OutMatch, Culture Index, etc.

Additional

• Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed
• Must be able to travel occasionally (25%) and work at an outside location
