Majestic Steel Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist at Cleveland, OH, United States Full Time

Majestic Steel is excited to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our team! The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full cycle recruiting with a focus on operations and plant hourly positions.

This person will also partner with plant leadership and supervision to identify, qualify, and hire top talent required to support and grow plant operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement innovative recruiting methods and procedures, with a focus on filling plant hourly positions.
• Create and post job opportunities with the most effective recruiting sources to attract slates of diverse, qualified candidates (job boards, networks, professional associations, strategic recruiting partners, etc.).
• Screen and interview candidates to identify top talent.
• Guide applicants through all stages of our hiring process from interview to hire.
• Develop relationships with hiring managers, identify and present diverse, qualified candidates and keep hiring managers updated on screening and hiring status.
• Manage the scheduling and logistics of virtual and onsite interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Collaborate with People Operations and Legal area to prepare offer documents and present to candidates.
• Conduct and coordinate reference verifications, background checks, and drug screening for potential hires.
• Meet with and prepare hiring managers with tools for successful associate onboarding.
• Conduct regular follow-up with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting, implementation, and future staffing needs.
• Manage applicant tracking and related documentation.
• Represent Majestic at local and remote job fairs, colleges and recruiting events
• Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Education, Training and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, marketing or other related field, or equivalent work experience
• Two years recruiting experience
• Technologically savvy and experience working with Microsoft Office products and Windows-based applications

• Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to diverse audiences
• Excellent creative ability in sourcing candidates
• Sound judgment and decision-making
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Proven track record in successfully recruiting top talent
• Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor to provide a positive company image to associates, candidates, business partners and the public
• Ability to effectively prioritize, balance multiple projects and processes and adhere to strict deadlines
• Trustworthy, discrete, and a high degree of personal integrity to maintain sensitive and confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years high volume, manufacturing recruiting experience
• Experience working with UKG Recruiting module

Additional

• Must be able to work outside normal business hours / days as needed
• Must be able to travel occasionally (up to 25%) and work at an outside location
