The Opportunity
Due to an internal development opportunity along with the growth of our organisation, we currently have two temporary full-time opportunities available! We are looking for our next two Human Resources Officers to join our team!
In this role you will partner with our Human Resources Business Partners to deliver generalist Human Resources services across Council. Daily tasks include coordinating end to end recruitment and selection, organising corporate training, and general HR administration. In collaboration with the Business Partner you will provide advice to management and staff in regards to the interpretation of Council’s industrial instruments, assist with the delivery of policies and protocols and undertake a range of administrative tasks.
About You
To hit the ground running as our HR Officer you will possess a Diploma in Human Resources and/or relevant knowledge and experience in the Human Resources space. You will have demonstrated experience in recruitment, training, and/or generalist Human Resources services. To achieve success in this role you will be highly organised, have exceptional interpersonal skills, be open minded and resilient. Your expert communication skills will see collaborate, foster and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders quickly.
Benefits
These are temporary full-time roles up until December 2023. Both positions will work 35 hours per week and attract a base salary of $69,553 up to $83,932 per year + 10.5% p.a. super, based on demonstrated skills and experience. You will also be eligible to participate in Council’s Flexible Work Framework.
