Maibec CanExel is a trusted leader in prefinished siding, located in East River, Nova Scotia (just outside of Hubbards) with a long history of manufacturing exterior siding that is designed to be exceptionally durable while maintaining its authentic beauty.

Maibec CanExel has immediate openings for permanent, full-time employment. Labourers/Operators are an integral part of our team and are leaders in safe practices. These positions start at $19.44 per hour with significant wage increases within the first 2 years of employment and opportunities to be trained for specific jobs that are paid at higher rates. Successful candidates will be trained in various positions within our manufacturing facility including but not limited to:

• Operating equipment
• Equipment cleaning
• Fire watch
• Sorting product
• General cleaning

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2 years of experience in an industrial setting
• Ability and desire to work varying shifts – 8 hour shifts, 12 hour shifts, days, nights, weekends, holidays
• Forklift experience would be considered an asset
