Positon: Shipping Manager
Magnum Machining, Inc. is looking to hire a Shipping Manager to join our growing company.
Magnum Machining, Inc. is a 29 year ISO certified full service CNC production machine manufacture specializing in the precision machining of iron, steel, and aluminum castings. Magnum supports the Industrial Machinery, Construction and Forestry, Commercial Compressor, and Oil & Gas industries.
Pay: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour DOE.
Job Type: Full-time
Shift Time:

• First Shift: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm

Shipping Manager Roles

• Use ERP system to track, check and prioritize orders and shipments
• Use ERP system to receive in raw material, finished goods, and prepare material for shipment to our customer.
• Set up trucks for pickup and delivery of material.
• Maintain FIFO inventory practices as well monitor cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
• Oversee and lead subordinates and their duties.
• Oversee building and grounds and work with maintenance department for needed actions.
• Maintain levels of packaging materials needed to ensure stock is adequate.

Basic Skills

• Strong computer skills is a must
• Able to lift 50 pounds in a safe manner and be able to spend 50% of your time in a standing position.
• Able to follow a schedule and work independently after given instructions.
• Able to follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all.

Trade Skills & Experience

• Prior Shipping and Receiving experience preferred.
• High School degree or GED
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Basic mathematical skills
• Forklift Experience a plus but not necessary
