Role Summary

Provide software service and support to the Manufacturing Facilities. Key Responsibilities

Provide programming and support to Manufacturing Engineering personnel and Maintenance Department.

Design and implement new electrical hardware and software applications with I.T.

Training of Maintenance/Production employees on new systems.

Assist in launch of new programs by providing programming support.

The ability to troubleshoot possible bugs and / or areas of concern in existing code

Maintenance of PLC program library system.

Strong problem solving, research and analytical skills.

Maintain equipment documentation and drawings.

Evaluate performance of existing systems to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Provide documentation for new systems and modifications to existing systems.

Available during scheduled shifts and off shifts in the event of any unusual problems

Other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications/Requirements

Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Experience in working in a manufacturing environment. Self-motivated. A proven team approach to problem solving. Ability to read and understand CAD / Electrical drawings. Proficient in PLC plant application software (HMI design, RSlogix5000). The successful applicant will have demonstrated superior abilities with industrial hardware applications and related software’s including Allen-Bradley PLC 5 & Control logix. Knowledge of Local Area Networks, DotNet Programming, ABB and Fanuc Robotics are preferred. Additional Information
