Role Summary

To provide administrative assistance to the HR Department and Employees. Key Responsibilities

First point of contact for all HR-related queries;

Assembles and maintains all employee personnel files, ensuring that all information is filed accurately and in a timely manner;

Maintain and ensure confidentiality of employee personnel records;

Work within HRIS software;

Types, revises, proofreads and distributes memos, reports, letters, minutes, presentations and other documents effectively utilizing different software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)

Maintains the HR / HS/ ENV communication boards;

Provides administrative duties such as copying, faxing, etc. as needed;

Scheduling for monthly employee meetings, company functions, etc. Key Qualifications/Requirements

minimum 1 year administrative/ clerical experience required preferably in an HR related position;

Grade 12 diploma required;

Human Resources Certificate would be an asset. Additional Information

normal amount of sitting and standing;

ability to move around an office environment and on the production floor;

ability to work at a computer workstation;

ability to bend, twist, lift, reach;

ability to work flexible hours and overtime.
