Magellan Aerospace, Haley has exciting opportunity for a Master Planner. Reporting to the Planning & Production Control Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of an achievable level-loaded production plan that supports the Customer Demand while respecting planning and capacity parameters.

Essential Responsibilities

Create and maintain an achievable level loaded production plan in accordance with Company Procedures

Prepare and review of Capacity vs. Load analysis, ensuring factory work centers are level loaded

Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of production related metrics as required by internal and corporate management

Prepare and host the monthly Pre-Rate Review and the Rate Review meetings in accordance with Company Procedures

Assist in the periodical documentation and reconciliation of physical casting inventory counts in accordance with Company Procedures

Position Requirements

5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

APICS (CPIM) certification considered an asset

A combination of APICS training courses and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of CPIM certification

Previous experience with MRP/CRP, ERP Systems, production planning activities and working knowledge of manufacturing execution systems

Advanced skill level with MS Excel

Beginner/Intermediate skill level with MS Access
