Madison Precision Products, Inc., a tier-one automotive parts supplier to Honda of America in Madison, Indiana is seeking qualified individuals for the following position:

Human Resources Generalist

The Recruiter/HR Generalist will support the overall operations of the Human Resources Department, primarily recruiting

· Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

· Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.

· Communicates with Associates, Team Leaders, and Managers to assist in resolving work issues.

· Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, associates, and supervisors.

· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

· Provide reporting such as turnover, open positions, etc.

· Support HR initiatives and employee programs

· Work with other departments to provide necessary information

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/ Excel)
• At least 1 year of HR experience preferred.
