The Solutions Engineer position is a technical role that will help existing and prospective clients achieve their goals through Madhive’s DSP product offerings and services.

The Solutions Engineer will help onboard and integrate with new clients, improve Madhive’s internal automation tools, and provide support for high-level ad ops technical issues and troubleshooting.

This person will be responsible for assisting with pre-sales activities, bringing a deep technical understanding of demand-side platforms and their functionalities, as well as a core understanding of how Madhive’s product offerings fit into the overall adtech ecosystem.

Leveraging their technical background and expertise in advertising technology, the Solutions Engineer will play a key role in supporting pre-sales activities by delivering product demos, professional presentations, and proficient technical troubleshooting

Additionally, the Solutions Engineer will collaborate with our engineering and client success teams to identify client needs and generate customized solutions where applicable.

Candidates should have a strong technical foundation in the adtech industry and / or perform a function within an AdOps organization.

Candidates will work cross-functionally across business development, client services, engineering, product, & sales.

Responsibilities (What you’ll do) :

• Support pre-sales efforts by providing technical guidance to prospective clients (advertisers)
• Ability to articulate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
• Maintain and help improve current internal client support tools as well as create new ones
• Diagnose and debug technical issues with our clients and serve as the last point of escalation before issues are sent to engineering
• Help identify and define internal inefficiencies (technical, education / communication, etc.) and create solutions for them
• Work cross-functionally with the product and development organizations to create more opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams

Qualifications (Who you are) :

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of adtech / programmatic experience and ability to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the adtech ecosystem, including programmatic buying, data management, and campaign optimization
• SQL master (ability to join tables and write queries / SQL code for ing and troubleshooting purposes)
• Comfortable working with large datasets
• Experience with BigQuery, Python, and GoLang is a plus
• 2-3 years of experience in a technical client-facing or support role in the adtech industry
• 2-3 years of pre-sales experience is a plus
• Experience using Jira / Confluence
• Deep experience in product / dev organizations
• Managing stakeholders and fostering cross-team communication
• Self-sufficient / self-starter
• Innate Curiosity

The approximate compensation range for this position is $140,000 $166,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
