Mad River Eye Care Hiring for Medical Receptionist at Waitsfield, VT Full Time

Mad River Eye Care in Waitsfield, VT is looking to hire a full-time Medical Receptionist. We pay a competitive wage of $17.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on experience. We also provide outstanding benefits, including a health insurance stipend of $250/month, accrued paid time off (PTO) of up to 32 hours/year, paid holidays, profit sharing, an employer-matched IRA, free eye care for the employee and their immediate family, one pair of glasses or a supply of contacts per year, family discounts, paid training, continuing education, reimbursement for certification or licensing, a Peloton membership, and space to exercise onsite. The typical schedule is Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM, approximately 36 hours a week with the option of working up to 40 hours.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicating with patients (in person and via phone, text, and email)
• Schedule Management and Office Flow – Scheduling appointments and ensuring efficient office flow
• Collecting payments and posting to accounts

QUALIFICATIONS

• Customer Service Experience is required
• Comfortable interacting with patients in person and over the phone
• Ability to use technology
• Strong communication skills
