We are looking for Stockroom Associates who meet the following criteria.

Primary Function:

Responsible for Picking, Posting, Restocking and Releasing material to production in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of experience in Stockroom or Warehouse
• Experience in Manufacturing preferred
• Demonstrated organization skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures
• Demonstrated good communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented
• Minimum 1-year computer experience and aptitude for ERP/ computer applications
• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs (assisted if needed), frequent walking and standing for long periods, bending and reaching
• Forklift license is an asset

Responsibilities, Skills, and Competencies:

• Pull parts as directed and coordinated with Stockroom Lead accurately for jobs released to production.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked and organized on shelves in the stockroom.
• Restock parts efficiently and maintain stockroom documents as required.
• Use handheld tablet, when picking parts, to ensure the correct item is picked.
• Communicate material issues to Stockroom Lead Hand.
• Perform transactions, post material in Syspro as required.
• Organize material and store material neatly.
• Perform cycle counts as need.
• Other duties as required.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs (assisted if needed); may work in hot areas 5%, noise 5%.
• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.

This is an hourly day shift position working out of our Mississauga, ON location, working at least 44 hours weekly. Hours are typically Monday to Thursday 7:00 am-4:30 pm, Fridays 7:00 am-3:30 pm.
