MacQuarries Pharmasave Hiring for Merchandiser Full Time

We are currently recruiting for a full time amazing Merchandiser for our location in Truro, NS.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to get more involved with the inner workings of merchandising. You will be responsible for all general merchandising duties but will also have a chance to be involved with special sales, new promotions, and some giftware. Merchandising certainly requires a great amount of skill, creativity, and organization. If you are this person, then please contact us.

There will be evenings, weekends, and holidays as a part of your shifts so you must have flexibility around all these times.

Some heavy lifting (50 lbs), climbing stairs, pushing, and pulling and lots and lots of teamwork is involved!

As with all our locations, you must have a great attitude and professional behavior and want to positively contribute to our team.

Some of the qualifications we are looking for:

• Superior Customer service experience – our customers are very important so let us keep them happy.
• Passion for merchandising!
• Excellent communication – you will have to talk a lot to many different people.
• A people person who always wants to exceed expectation – we are all about people and want everyone to be wowed!
• Very Organized – there will be lots going on, so you need to know where everything is
• Strong attention to detail – it is merchandising after all.
• Not afraid to ask questions – lots to learn so you need to be good with questions.
• Takes initiative – if you see something that needs to be done or fixed you need to do it.
• Team player – we spend much of our time at work, it is much better if we are good to each other.

The successful candidate will work as a merchandiser but will also be trained on cash so you can assist when needed. We are open 7 days a week, evenings, weekends, and holidays so the shifts will vary.
