Exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised administrator to support student recruitment activities and events in our Domestic Student Recruitment team.

  • From $76,908 to 87,443 (HEW Level 5), plus 17% employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading
  • Full time, continuing role. Based at Wallumattagal campus, North Ryde.
  • High performing team. Hybrid working arrangement.
THE ROLE
The Student Recruitment Support Officer is the backbone of our Undergraduate Domestic Recruitment team. This role will provide effective administrative and coordination support to ensure the team are setup for success to deliver events and activities aimed at attracting students to Macquarie University.
Reporting to the Domestic Recruitment Program Coordinator, you will provide administrative and operational support for domestic student recruitment activities and events, as well as representing the University at events and expos. You will work proactively to ensure our data and records are well-maintained and use this to prepare regular reports.
About You
You will be highly organised, able to work independently and have a strong customer-oriented focus. You will have excellent attention to detail with a proven track record of providing effective administrative and event logistics support, and ready to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment.
You will be comfortable working in an environment where no two days are the same. You can effectively move between providing high quality administration and coordination support, to delivering presentations and supporting event management.

  • Relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience in marketing or related discipline.
  • Understanding of the student experience, and knowledge of secondary and tertiary education processes.
  • Providing a high level of customer service in administrative and coordination support to a team, including coordinating logistical elements for events and/or activities.
  • Understanding systems and processes, including financial administration.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in identifying and implementing administrative efficiencies.
