THE ROLE

Campus Life is currently seeking to increase their pool of Casual Educators with Certificate III or equivalent qualification to join the team at Banksia, Gumnut or Waratah Cottages. Reporting to the ECT, Room Leader, you will draw on experience in supporting the planning and evaluating of high-quality educational programs with an understanding of pedagogy and best practice in early childhood. You will draw upon your industry experience in collaborating with colleagues across a large and diverse team in supporting the delivery of high-quality programs and practices.

• Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds
• Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and a commitment to professional development.
• Proven experience in supporting the planning and delivering of high-quality educational programs that are founded in best practice.
• Good communication skills both written and oral with an ability to work effectively in a team
• Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to the culture and team within a setting

Regulatory requirements:

• ACECQA approved Certificate III qualification in early childhood education
• Approved First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualification
• Working with Children Check
• Approved Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm qualification
• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia
